Welcome to Newcaslte University Ice Hockey Club Website. We are a team currently entered in BUIHA competitions catering for any player from rookie to top league and GB international players.

With teams in Division One and Two of the BUIHA Cup, the Wildcats look to build upon progress in previous seasons. For the first season, the club is also putting a team into Division Three to go up against the other top development universities in the country. With a strong coaching team in place for the forthcoming season all Newcastle students are encouraged to come along to any of the club events.

Freshers Information
Sessions for new students take place at 14.00 for ice skating at Whitley Bay Ice Rink (leaving Haymarket Metro at 13.15) during term time. Beginner session ice hockey sessions are generally on Sundays with further details available on the forum, or by contacting the President.

Team Training
Team selections are a continual process as players develop and progress through the squads. Further details are released on the forum but players are encouraged to attend Sunday night sessions as a starting point to meet the coaches and players. Players may then be invited to attend a specific team training session. Please see the forum or contact the head coach for more details on training sessions.
